The Lady's Revenge
(the sequel to Lord Blackwood's Valentine Ball)
(the sequel to Lord Blackwood's Valentine Ball)

Revenge is a dish best eaten cold in
this enthralling traditional Regency romance.
The delightful story of Patience
and Lord Blackwood’s courtship takes an unexpected and disastrous turn when Miss
Letitia DeVere returns to London after a two-year absence to find her former
admirer Lord Charles Blackwood on the verge of proposing to Miss Patience
Cherwell. Lord Blackwood’s Valentine Ball proved to be the turning point in his
fledgling romance with Patience.
Letitia is not the kind of woman that gives up
easily, as Patience and Charles soon find out. She stoops at nothing to achieve
her aims. However, Letitia has a dark past, with secrets that threaten to
return and destroy her new found social success.
When Charles proves less malleable than in the past, Letitia resorts to subterfuge, seduction, blackmail, and even violence to force him to propose. Will he see through her tricks and remain true to Patience, or will Letitia’s seductive wiles lure him back?
What Readers Say!
"Arabella Sheraton continues the adventure with this breathtaking story. Miss Letitia DeVere is one of the most manipulative antagonists I’ve met in any story I can remember. She is so well written that even while I despised her I couldn’t help admire the author for bringing her so perfectly to life. After having lost my heart a little to Lord Blackwood in the previous story I was so disappointed that he fell for Letitia’s machinations so easily. If I was Prudence I’m not sure I wouldn’t have given him a much bigger show of temper on more than one occasion. It was nice to catch up with a few of the characters from the previous story and to meet a few more entertaining new ones. I would recommend reading the previous story first as this isn’t really much of a romance if you do not as the connection was made in the first adventure. I highly enjoyed this story and I’m looking forward to reading more from this talented author." -- Pauline Michael, Night Owl Reviews
